About Moovency
How was Moovency born?
Musculoskeletal disorders are multifactorial injuries which target a large proportion of joints, muscles, tendons, nerves, cartilages and spinal discs. These injuries can be caused or aggravated by risk factors present in the workplace.
MSD’s represent the first cause of medical leave in industrial countries like France.
💪 Upper limb is the highest at risk of MSD’s. For instance we find the following diseases :
🔹Hands : tendinitis
🔹Wrists : carpal tunnel syndrome
🔹Elbows : epitrocleitis (common tendinopathy of the elbow)
🔹Shoulders : supraspinatus tendinitis (tendon inflammation)
🔹Back : back injuries
🦵 The lower part of the body can also be subject to MSD’s, especially for workers doing their tasks while crouching or well on their knees.
👀 Their appearance is caused by a set of risk combinations that are seen as factors. They can be :
🔹individuals ;
🔹environmentals ;
🔹psychosocials ;
🔹orgasinationals ;
🔹biomechanicals.
