Given this growing importance, the objective remains the same: to protect workers while optimising working conditions. We&#8217;ve decided to take a look at<strong> the major trends and key measures to be followed this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_huge\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2>HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK<strong>: Some figures for 2023 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>Each year, the Assurance Maladie publishes an overview of health and safety at work. At the end of December 2024, it released its 2023 edition, providing key figures to better understand the importance of the topic in France.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">WORKPLACE ACCIDENTS (WA)<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"w-counter color_primary align_center animation_none\" data-duration=\"2\" style=\"--w-counter-duration: 2s;\"><div class=\"w-counter-value\" aria-label=\"555 803\"><span class=\"w-counter-value-part final\" aria-hidden=\"true\">555 803<\/span><span class=\"w-counter-value-part hidden type_text\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-final><\/span><span class=\"w-counter-value-part hidden type_number\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-final=\"555 803\">1<\/span><span class=\"w-counter-value-part hidden type_text\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-final><\/span><\/div><h1 class=\"w-counter-title\" style=\"font-size:1rem;font-weight:400;\">the number of compensated occupational accidents in 2023<\/h1><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>The sectors most affected<\/strong> by these accidents at work remain the same: healthcare, cleaning and temporary work (29% of accidents at work in 2023), food (17%), transport (15%) and construction (14%). Manual handling and falls from a level are still the main causes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">OCCUPATIONAL DISEASES (ODS)<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Occupational diseases <\/strong>have increased by 7.3% compared with 2022, to 47,434. Of these, <strong>MSDs<\/strong> account for almost 90% (41,937), with an increase of 9.5% compared with 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"w-progbar initial style_5 color_custom\" onclick='return {&quot;template&quot;:&quot;90%&quot;,&quot;value&quot;:&quot;90&quot;,&quot;finalValue&quot;:&quot;100&quot;}'><h3 class=\"w-progbar-title\" style=\"font-size:2rem;\"><span class=\"w-progbar-title-text\">MSDs as a proportion of occupational illnesses<\/span><span class=\"w-progbar-title-count\">90%<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"w-progbar-bar\"><div class=\"w-progbar-bar-h\" style=\"height:16px;background:var(--color-content-link-hover);\"><span class=\"w-progbar-bar-count\">90%<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>This translates into more than<strong> 74 million days not worked in 2023<\/strong> due to accidents and occupational diseases, underlining the importance of strengthening prevention and awareness strategies.<\/p>\n<p>These figures highlight the need to continue prioritising health and safety at work, and new measures are being introduced to address the problem.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><strong>Regulatory Developments and New Measures in 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In 2025, several changes will strengthen the prevention of occupational risks and improve the management of health and safety at work.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>The Prevention Passport<\/h3>\n<p>Created by Law no. 2021-1018 of 2 August 2021 (<em>NB: Strengthening prevention within companies and decompartmentalising public health and occupational health)<\/em>, the prevention passport should be rolled out across the board this year.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this passport is to lis<strong>t all the certificates and training courses taken by an employee in relation to health and safety at work.<\/strong> Since 2023, it has been accessible via the professional training account for workers and jobseekers.<\/p>\n<p>Initially scheduled for 2024, the Passport will be full<strong>y accessible to employers and training bodies from 2025,<\/strong> making it easier to track skills in occupational risk prevention.<\/p>\n<h3>Sick Leave: A New Mandatory Form from June 2025<\/h3>\n<p>Officialized since September 2024, this measure aims to combat sick leave fraud, as the Health Insurance has reported a sharp increase in fraudulent sick leaves in 2023. It will become mandatory starting in June of this year.<\/p>\n<p>These are Cerfa forms available on <a href=\"https:\/\/authps-espacepro.ameli.fr\/oauth2\/authorize?response_type=code&amp;scope=openid%20profile%20infosps%20email&amp;client_id=csm-cen-prod_ameliprotransverse-connexionadmin_1_amtrx_i1_csm-cen-prod%2Fameliprotransverse-connexionadmin_1%2Famtrx_i1&amp;state=iJHoW5zjMcbqaAVX667a49JwIMc&amp;redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fespacepro.ameli.fr%2Fpage-accueil-ihm%2Fredirect_uri&amp;nonce=WT0PR-9LiLKEBHJ0EqVe8OjS50444q3sSBrPCcMx85s\">Amelipro<\/a>, with enhanced security features: magnetic ink, special paper, and a holographic label. <strong>The use of these secured forms will thus become mandatory for all paper submissions of sick leave notices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that dematerialised notices of work, transmitted electronically via <a href=\"https:\/\/authps-espacepro.ameli.fr\/oauth2\/authorize?response_type=code&amp;scope=openid%20profile%20infosps%20email&amp;client_id=csm-cen-prod_ameliprotransverse-connexionadmin_1_amtrx_i1_csm-cen-prod%2Fameliprotransverse-connexionadmin_1%2Famtrx_i1&amp;state=iJHoW5zjMcbqaAVX667a49JwIMc&amp;redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fespacepro.ameli.fr%2Fpage-accueil-ihm%2Fredirect_uri&amp;nonce=WT0PR-9LiLKEBHJ0EqVe8OjS50444q3sSBrPCcMx85s\">Amelipro<\/a> or approved and compatible software, are strongly recommended as the most effective means of preventing fraud and usurpation.<\/p>\n<h3>Adoption of new models for monitoring certificates and aptitude notices<\/h3>\n<p>Originally scheduled for the end of 2024, the implementation of the new models for monitoring certificates, fitness notices and unfitness notices has now been postponed until 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Occupational health professionals must issue these documents in accordance with the models defined by the Ministry of Labour in an order dated 16 October 2017. A new order adopted in 2024 aims<strong> to modernise these certificates in order to improve their readability for employers and employees, while strengthening the regulatory framework and traceability of medical monitoring.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, no precise date has yet been set for their entry into force during the year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><strong>Health and safety at work: challenges intensifying in 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With changes in working conditions and an increase in occupational illnesses, companies are being called upon to step up their preventive measures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-6 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>As mentioned, <strong>MSDs<\/strong> accounted for almost <strong>90% of occupational illnesses<\/strong> according to the 2024 report: this trend is likely to continue in 2025, with a worrying rise in pathologies linked to working postures and repetitive movements.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, <strong>psychosocial risks<\/strong> (including stress, anxiety and depression) are becoming a major issue, with around 12,000 cases recognised each year by the French health insurance system.<\/p>\n<p>Given these facts, it is essential to strengthen the culture of prevention and raise employee awareness in order to limit these impacts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-6 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"w-image align_center\"><div class=\"w-image-h\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"298\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/moovency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Icones-Moovency-rapidite\u2560u-298x400.png\" class=\"attachment-us_600_400 size-us_600_400\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/moovency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Icones-Moovency-rapidite\u2560u-298x400.png 298w, https:\/\/moovency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Icones-Moovency-rapidite\u2560u-223x300.png 223w, https:\/\/moovency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Icones-Moovency-rapidite\u2560u-372x500.png 372w, https:\/\/moovency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Icones-Moovency-rapidite\u2560u.png 475w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2><strong>World Day for Safety and Health at Work: 28 April<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Every 28 April, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) commemorates World Day for Safety and Health at Work, focusing on a topical theme.<\/p>\n<p>This day, created in 2003, aims to ensure safety at work and to raise awareness of the dimensions and consequences of work-related accidents and diseases, to place occupational safety and health (OSH) on the international and national agenda and to support national efforts to improve national occupational safety and health (OSH) systems and programmes.
