The financial impact is significant, with companies annually paying <\/span>160 million euros<\/span><\/b> in contributions due to these incidents, resulting in the loss of over <\/span>2.3 million<\/span><\/b> workdays due to sick leave of affected employees, of which over <\/span>60% are related to back pain<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Workers in Nursing Homes for Dependent Elderly Persons (EHPAD) are particularly affected by MSD, representing <\/span>94%<\/span><\/b> of recognized occupational diseases within these establishments. This reality translates into a significant financial and economic impact, with contributions totaling <\/span>46 million euros<\/span><\/b> paid due to these incidents, leading to the loss of over<\/span> 660,000 workdays<\/span><\/b> due to sick leave of affected employees.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
